The Study Of Distributed Performance Data Surveillance System In Multiservice Data Network

Multiservice switch is widely used in backbone transmission of multiservice data network. Along with it, the surveillance of performance data of switch is necessary for maintenance of network operation. Because of the insufficiency of private network management system, it is difficult to achieve performance statistic function. To resolve this problem, this paper puts forward a designing scheme of distributed performance statistic function software. Some functions are exploited on network management platform. Performance data surveillance system which is based on distributed technology is exploited by JBuilder9.After the compare of several distributed technologies, RMI is selected because of its splendid performance. At last, the prototype system which is the integration of surveillance system and platform is tested in the laboratory. The method which is put forward in the paper is significative in surveillance of performance data of multiservice switch.
