With the rapid development of computer and network technology and increasing improvement of computer network infrastructure in our country, the campus computer network finds its broader application in many universities and colleges. A network-based office system of a university is usually build on an open standardized working platform, which means information security is of key importance for its efficiency and usability..Digital signature technique is a fundamental method of computer encryption to safeguard information integrity. The application of digital signature technique to network-based office system can provide identity verification service, authorization level control, information secrecy safeguard, data integrity check and denial-defense .In this thesis, the concepts, models and implementation features of various kinds of digital signature schemes are discussed and analyzed in depth. Several digital signature schemes suitable to network-based office system are put forward and analyzed in accordance with the specific characteristics of network-based office system. Special efforts are made to improve such key features as encryption strength, verification efficiency, integrity appraisal and denial-defense assurance. The proposed methods can better fulfill needs of college office processing workflow.Finally, a special digital signature project and PKI credit model fit for network office system are implemented in a practical system. The proposed digital signature scheme is successfully applied to the network grading system of college entrance examination for music majors in Chongqing.
