With the rapid development of computer technology and information industry, mesh technique is implemented to solve complicated numerical analytics and simulation in engineering fields, such as calculative mechanics, hydrodynamics, finite element analysis.Correlative mesh is deeply researched in this thesis which mainly emphasizes on:Several techniques about surface meshing are researched including mapping Delaunay paving and quadtree.Integrated with present meshing techniques of quadtree and template, a new mesh generating method is proposed and designed which is based on the mapping method. Quadtree is highly adaptable but difficult in mesh transition, so the new method uses template to overcome the disadvantage to generate mixed element.Focusing on the details of the method, some measures are proposed to strengthen the reliability and steadiness and enhance the efficiency of the algorithm. The discrete optimization of boundary curve and the optimization of polygon clipping are discussedOn the basis of the above research, this surface automatic mesh generation have applied to CAE software successfully which can create high quality element. The method is steady and reliable. The speeding of the meshing is good.
