| With the development of computer image processing, three-dimensional reconstruction of medical images is possible, and is being a new research hotspot gradually. Firstly, the paper deeply researches 3D reconstruction algorithms of application in the field of 3D visualization and their basic principles, methods,characteristics, the emphasis is the classical algorithm in the space-based volume rendering algorithm ray-casting volume rendering algorithm. Then, an improved algorithm based on ray-casting volume rendering algorithm is proposed. This algorithm combines the advantages of surface rendering and direct volume rendering. The algorithm introduces image segmentation conception from surface rendering, greatly reduces volume data that were processed, and apparently accelerates the speed of reconstruction. The algorithm can be also extended to other applications in 3D construction of image series In the process of 3D reconstruction, OpenGL graphic standard and hardware accelerator can be used for classified volume data set in the application of 3D reconstruction The experiment 's platform is Windows2000 and programmable tools are Visual C++6.0 and OpenGL. |
