The Design And Implement Of The System Of Attribute Analysis

Seismic Attribute analysis is the basic content of oil reservoir description. Nowadays, attribute analysis technology develops very fast; it is applied widely on oil field development and is playing a more and more important role.Seismic attribute analysis of oil reservoir bases on the seismic attributes abstracted along horizon. People abstract seismic attributes which are relative with geology state and have geometrical, kinematical, kinetic or statistical characters, set up attribute groups to serve for geological target research, select attributes through cross analysis method, optimize and compress those attributes through mathematical means, classify and carry out comprehensive analysis by advanced techniques such as pattern recognise or neural network. Attribute analysis technique fully utilizes various signal handling techniques and intelligence techniques such as pattern recognise technique and artificial neural network recognization technique, investigates the relativity between seismic attribute and oil reservoir, analyzes the distribution range, attributes and hydrocarbon-bearing characters of oil reservoir, or examine the content of hydrocarbon compound directly. It provides an important method for oil reservoir research work.The system adopts advanced techniques such as pattern recognise, neural network under both supervise condition and unsupervised condition, can be used to carry out multi-parameter analysis, multi-target optimization work with tools such as cross plot etc. Using relatively small amount of well data for control and mainly based on 3D seismic data, it can be used in the oil reservoir analysis and prediction work of the entire survey. It is especially suitable to be used at the beginning period of reservoir characterization work for the accurate cognition of oil reservoir and plays an import role in shortening the exploration period, improving the success rate of trial pit and reducing exploration risk and cost.The design and realization of this system fully utilized the object-oriented method which gifted the attribute analysis system with convenient and flexible features as well as easiness for expansion.Seismic attribute analysis system is one of the most important parts of the GeoEast integrated seismic data processing and interpretation system, which is one of the key R&D projects of CNPC during the tenth "five-year plan" period.
