| High date rate and high special efficiency frequency spectrum techniques have been the pop research topic for the future wireless communication in recent years. However the combination of OFDM with multi-input and multi-output (MIMO) technology will become the optimization scheme of the question .This is because that OFDM not only can improve the frequency spectrum efficiency, but also can reduce the ISI by splitting the serial the signal data into parallel ones. Furthermore MIMO technology can enhance the capacity of channel without the increasing the power of transmitter. Due to the merits of MIMO- OFDM system ,the technology will be the core of the 4G wireless system.Similar to a signal-input signal output (SISO) OFDM system, the MEMO-OFDM system is very sensitive to carrier frequency offset, which can introduce the inter-carrier-interference (ICI). Accurate synchronization is thus the essential for reliable reception of transmitter data. Recently, various synchronization schemes have been proposed for MEMO-OFDM system. However, most of them suit with the SISO-OFDM system. In this research, it manly presents the algorithms synchronization for MEMO- OFDM system, which include the frame synchronization, frequency offset estimation and tracking. According to the structure of the paper, the research can be divided into several chapters as follows.The first chapter gives the overview of the MEMO-OFDM technology.The second and the third chapter introduce fundamental of MEMO-OFDM and the influence of synchronization on the system performance.The fourth chapter analyses the algorithm of frame synchronization.The fifth chapter implements the synchronization for MEMO- OFDM system with pilot subcarries. |
