Research On Pattern Recognition Based On Granular Computing And Its Application

With the emergence of the idea of granular computing(GrC) in 1970's, it develop quickly and apply widely in some occasion. Its main idea is to analogy the manner of human's thinking, that is human can observe and analysis problem from quiet different granularity, and can easily transfer from one granularity world to another, then to solute the problem at the basis of some information get from these granularities. It recently became a hot research topic domestically and abroad. On the aspect of theory, it have reach a good level, but beginning on the aspect of application. Therefore, it is an important research topic in its application. In the thesis, we apply GrC to concrete pattern recognition application and do some primitive research, some new main contributions of this thesis are as follows:(1)The thesis combine GrC and concrete pattern recognition problem, and answer the question why and how introduce GrC into concrete pattern recognition.(2)With the basis of (1),the thesis present a improved hough transform algorithm based on Grc ,it turns out its improvement on algorithm complexity,accuracy and its useness.(3)With the deeply analysis on the problem existed in a license plate locating algorithm, which based on the extraction of parallelogram, and...
