| In this paper, the background and definition of embedded system and Ethernet technology are introduced briefly, and the developping situation of combination of embedded system and Ethernet technology is discussed. Consequently, the importance of researching embedded Ethernet technology and exploiting embedded Ethernet system are explained.According to the actuality at present, there are three solving methods of realizing embedded Ethernet technology being summarized, embedded operating system running on 32 bit CPU, using special chip processing network protocol, micro-controller embedding TCP/IP protocols stack, and analyzes their characters and degrees of difficulty or simplicity and so on, and finally chooses the third method as the design of the system.On the basis of it, this paper puts forward the overall design idea, and designs hardware system and software system in detail:1. Theory of hardware system is given, and concrete configuration and character of 89C52 and inside configuration and registers of RTL8019AS are discussed importantly.2. As the difficulty of design, the core of system, firstly, TCP/IP Reference Model and configuration are analyzed. Secondly, necessary of demultiplexing and encapsulation of data are explained. Then combining the actual application of this embedded system—multimedia devices with network central control system, this paper puts forward micro TCP/IP protocols stack. Finally, every layer of this TCP/IP protocols stack and protocols being used such as ARP, IP, ICMP, UDP are analyzed deeply and in detail, and flow charts of such protocols and software design ideas are proposed.On the basis of overall design, this paper proves the feasibility of micro-controller embedding TCP/IP protocols stack. The actual testing result is given. Then this paper explains actual application of the system in multimedia devices with network central control system. The actual application shows that this embedded Ethenet system can provide multimedia devices with network central control system with availability and promise it communication capability fully.In conclusion, some problems of this system are indicated faithfully. So it is necessary to do further researches for the technology in future. |
