Research Of Content Awareness Based On HowNet

As the information on the World Wide Web is growing rapidly nowadays, how to get the exact information what user really want from such plenty of information has become a siginificant problem. Search engine plays a very important role here, according to the latest inquisition of CNNIC in 2004 January, the Search engine shares 61.6% of the network service usage rate, only next to E-mail. The importance of the search engine is obvious.How to get more correct information? After having known the development about ontology home and abroad, we select the HowNet to be the key technique for improving enficiency of search engine, and propose a model with which hoping to realize content awareness toward users' input and document. The model is to solve the problem praised due to the simple matching between the key words and documents. Enriching the searching words by computing the similar value and relative value to the key words which user input, and sorting the results by key value can do good to the searching.
