| As the development of modern logistic, inventory and automatic technology, AS/RS is an active research area nowadays. It integrates the storage, transition, distribution as a whole. Moreover, as an important part of the industrial logistic and CIMS system, it can massively increase the management efficiency, optimize the stock and reduce the inventory cost.A novel AS/RS system is proposed, studied and simulated in this paper. Consequently, the system input and out speed of the novel system is much faster than the traditional AS/RS.UML is selected to simulate the system. It consists of two subsystems; they are management system and monitor simulation system. The management system contains system setting module, input management module, output management module and the stock rock module. And the monitor simulation system consists of monitor and analysis module. Visual Basic 6.0 is selected as the programming langrage of the management system. The management system functions the system settings, recording the input and output signals, optimizing the inventory and stock. Kingview 6.5 is selected to build monitor simulation system, which is used for system data analysis. Access 2000 is selected as the system database.After the system was build successfully, two groups of system simulations were carried out. Thus based on the simulation results, the novel system was optimized. In the optimization process, the inventory distribution, system efficiency and transitions are considered. The simulation results have indicated that the novel AS/RS system can achieve a more efficient inventory management and reduce the cost. |
