Design And Implement Of SD9200 ARM9 Embedded System Platform For Education

With the development of embedded system, embedded computer has been used in plenty of application. Embedded system is so important that more and more college has open up courses of it. The key point of this paper is to provide an embedded education platform, which is all-purpose, low price and popular.Designed SD9200 ARM9 embedded system platform for education. The starting point of this design is for teaching and development. SD9200 is based on AT91RM9200 ARM9 processor of ATMEL and extended many peripherals and interface for embedded teaching. Furthermore, software development environment is also provided.Background and meaning of this paper is given at first with main idea of SD9200. The following is a summary of principle and technology which used in this paper. The architecture of SD9200 is provided, followed by implement of hardware and software which includes evaluation board, SdIDE for ARM, JFW9200, bootloader, ported linux-2.4.27 and experimental examples for teaching. The paper also concludes with problems and future works.
