Customer And Sales Analysis System Based On Business Intelligence

Business Intelligence is becoming the most significant information system after ERP and accepted by more and more enterprise managers, including the decision makers in the industry of telecom, financial, retail and insurance. BI has become the key of these industries' information construction process.The thesis studies the Customers and Sales Analysis Business Intelligence System. This system provides intelligent market sales strategy analysis, customer classification and customer characteristic analysis for American Standard. It helps the company transfer the operational data into high-value and obtainable information.The thesis starts from detailed introduction of the Customers and Sales Analysis Business Intelligence System's requirement. It also covers the Business Intelligence techonology and its developing trend. Then it analyzes the ASD-CSAS system's risk, requirement, comparition between the original and the new archetict and new system's characteristics and advantages. The last part gives detailed information of the system's design and implementation. This system includes four sub-systems: Data warehouse, Data analysis, Spring cluster solution and Report Generating. As for Data warehouse, the thesis mainly deals with system architecture, data modeling, data extraction and solutions to some performance issues related to system implementation. This sub-system uses BusinessObjects Data Integrator as ETL tool; what's more, it developed Service Components to overcome its shortcoming in processing huge data. The Data Analysis sub-system utilizes Business Objects Enterprise Performance Management to analyze data and display with Dashboard. The thesis also covers how to use AOP to setup the Spring cluster and how to make use of limited resources to generate huge number of Crystal Reports: use MQ to achieve high performance asynchronized system, so that the BOE engine can reach its highest efficiency.With the accumulation of the information physical infrastructure construction, more and more data needs to be transferred into comprehensible information; therefore, the construction of Business Intelligence for enterprises becomes an urgent task. The Business Intelligence system has great potential for further development and will be extensively applied.
