Design And Implementation Of The Elective Instruction System Based On J2EE

As the continuous increase in enrollment, the increasing number of students caused the teaching material scarcity and also influenced the quality the rational electives, which embody too heavy tasks for teachers to guarantee the teaching activities according to the syllabus, many electives that frequently conflict in time. Due to the unlimited net-instruction in time and space, designing a perfect elective instruction system will be practical significance to to enhance making use of the resource of teaching and improving teaching level.Analyzing the present credit system, this paper put forward the present problems in elective instruction, analyzed the necessity and technology feasibility of the elective instruction system. In order to improve the system reusage, extensibility, portability, J2EE and MVC model are adopted, and key technic in design and implementation of the system are discussed. At last the paper summarized the development of the system and brought forward some jobs in future.The system include three registration ways for administrator, teachers and students including multi-functions: student study, staff teaching, and teaching management etc., which offer the unlimited time and space study for students who choose the elective to study by net, hand in exercise, finish examinations and get the corresponded credits according to private condition.Possessing opening, expansion, practicability etc., this system can satisfy the requirement of auto-net-instruction, by which students can obtain the necessary education information freely and efficiently,and it can improve study efficiency and reform the study way.
