Design And Implement Of Webservice-based Mobile Police Information System

It is necessary to establish mobile inform system to control crime and improve the response speed with the increasing population liquidity. Current wireless communications enable the implement of Mobile Police Information System (MPIS) become true. However, it is inquired in Mobile Police Information System that we must integrate original police operation system with new system at the lowest expense. The traditional system integration technology has many shortcomings, such as bad expansibility, redundant structure, fussy relationship and difficult management. WEB Services will be the core technology in Application Integration with simple ness, orient standard, flexibility, expansibility and high efficiency in integrated system.The author studied XML, J2ME and WEB Services technology in theory and practicality. By analyzing the mode of data-exchange and topology in detail, the author describes an architecture plan of Mobile Police Information System through combining the WEB Services with J2ME, which realizes system independent, unrestricted data-format and reduces the influence in security policy.At the last of the paper, the author presents the implementing of WEBService-Based mobile police System. The last chapter focuses on packaging and deploying WEB Services, and also emphasizes development process of program in mobile-client by using J2ME. It describes the architecture, design idea, application mode, security scheme and data flow.
