| With modern warfare entering high-tech times, Electronic warfare, whose intention is to control the electromagnetism, plays more and more important role in advanced military fields. It becomes a key factor determining the war victory or defeat. In recent years, adaptive frequency hopping (AFH) develops as an important measure of electron counterwork that integrates adaptive frequency with adaptive power control based on automatic link quality analysis. The system can keep high quality communication long term in no-interference or less-interference channels, with minimum transmitting power and low probability of intercept.Against the disadvantage that FH with fixed speed can only weakly repel track interference and part-block interference, this dissertation add the concept of shift FH to AFH to improve system performance in anti-jamming.This dissertation first introduces the importance of anti-jamming technique in military communication system and the future development of FH radios. Then by referring to the FH system this dissertation adopts, the basic concept of FH, the principle of AFH and some important techniques such as FH list and FH synchronization are studied, laying the foundation of further design. Aiming at the characters of conventional FH radios, a whole scheme to realize the arithmetic of the adaptive random shift FH is put forward. Finally, the hardware configuration of VHF radios and its workflow when sending and receiving signals are introduced. The configuration and workflow of two main units in adaptive random shift FH radios are discussed in detail. |
