| Bluetooth is a technology for short-distance wireless access with excellent performance. It has many advantages such as high interference rejection, low-cost and low-power, etc. Recently, VOIP(Voice Over IP)has been used widely for its free or low-cost. In order to eliminate its limitation on movability, Bluetooth is applied as wireless audio transmission to design and develop a smart phone Bluetooth VOIP audio access system .The target system is analyzed and designed in general at first. There are two parts in the system, one is to develop a Bluetooth stack on Windows platform, and the other is to develop a Bluetooth Headset application on Symbian OS platform. For Windows platform, a new Bluetooth stack solution is proposed and some of modules have been realized by object-oriented method. They are USB driver stack, Event management components on HCI layer and L2CAP protocol. For Symbian OS platform, a downloadable Bluetooth Headset application on Nokia N70 smart phone is developed as well. Finally, the procedures and results of interoperability test among PC, Headset and Nokia N70 smart phone are shown respectively. It has proved the proposed solution is efficient and applicable. Moreover, the target system has satisfied all expected requirements. |
