Research And Realization Of Software Configuration Management Based On Component Technology

Software Configuration Management runs through the lifecycle of Software development. It provides a kind of management measures and principles of activity. Software Configuration Management plays a very important part in resource control in software development.Nowadays , Component-Based Software Development(CBSD) becomes more and more popular ,but traditional SCM methods can not really support component based software development .So develop new SCM methods to fit the CBSD must be the most popular direction of research.In this article I first introduction the technology of traditional SCM, and then I describe the technology of component. After compare the difference between SCM in the traditional Software Engineering and SCM in the Component-Based Software Engineering, I discuss some pivotal technologies of SCM in the Component-Based Software Engineering. In the end, I give an application of SCM to the project of UEMC (Union Equipment Management Center) system.
