| With the enhancement of the standard of our living, people have demanded video and audio information stronger and stronger for these years. And multimedia information which integrated audio,video,images,texts and data,has facilitated more and more people. So, people have gradually focused on the research of multimedia information. Among this,some multimedia applications like digital TV (including HDTV) compressing and storage of DVDs,Video conference are the focus of research and the trend of multimedia technologies, in which the video compressing technology which make a series of video coding technologies emerging is the key technology.The emerging H.264/AVC video coding standard was developed collaboratively by the ITU-T and ISO/IEC. By adopting a number of new coding techniques, H.264/AVChas achieved a significant improvement in compression performance and a "network-friendly" video representation relative to existing standards. It is a valuable and important work to trail and grip the kernel technology of H.264/AVC.Combining with applications, we should innovate and develop new technologies of H.264/AVC,such as decoding。The JM models of H.264 had been modified for a few times with the decoding performance improved more and more, but it still con not real-time decode. So, my work mainly focused on the following:1.Analyzed the standard in detail and compared with other standards comprehensively,to establish the emphases and orientation of further study.2. Based on the study of H.264 standard and the comparing with H.263,I analyzed video syntax streaming and the coding structure of H.264.3. By the means of recognizing with the coding functions of H.264.I optimized the decoding efficiency of H.264 by using software mend to the functions of H.264 which were most time-consuming. |
