Research For Segmentation Technology Of Video Human Objects

With the rapid development of computer, communication and network technology, the video contents based applications become the main research issue and new trend in the current multimedia research field. Video object segmentation is indispensable in realizing video contents based applications such as storage, transfer and index. So researching on the segmentation technology of video objects has both important theoretical significance and practical value.Based on the systematic survey of the current methods for video segmentation, image segmentation and motion estimation, this thesis focuses on the research and implementation of the techniques for video Human objects segmentation by combining image segmentation and motion estimation between frames. The primary contents of the thesis are summarized as follows:In the aspect of video Human object segmentation, firstly the automatic segmentation and semiautomatic segmentation techniques are introduced.
