Currently, For IPTV service, there are two kinds of packaging form: one is ISMA, which is enacted for streaming media service for the Internet, its packaging protocol takes little bandwith, but it starts late and still relatively gets low degree of recognition in the industry. The other is MPEG-2 TS, which is a common industry standard, it supports a variety of multi-media streaming and coding standards. TS package has been approved and widely used in the global broadcasting industry. Therefore, the research on the MPEG-2 TS processing Technology will be a theoretical and practical significance for the transmission system of IPTV. Internet bandwidth is very precious. So, for IPTV service, instead of transmitting the entire MPTS, it only transmits the SPTS the user requested, which calls for demultiplexing the MPTS and re-multiplexing it into SPTS. Meanwhile, the analysis IPTV MPEG-2 TS will be widely used in all aspects of IPTV system.
