Bearings-Only technology, due to its unique technological advantages (such as quiet work, long distances detection, etc.) in the military field, especially in the area of avionics system, is extremely important and useful. In the current this technology has been widely studied. Based on previous research work, we continue to research this technology, particularly in the complex technology of optimal estimation and optimal control, and the technology of non-mobile BO system. On the basis of sum up the results of previous studies, we bring forward a number of new methods, and get a number of new findings and conclusions.The main study focused on the following three areas:1) The optimal estimation of 3D BO system: Apply the extended Kalman filter with a control input (EKF with u) to 3D BO system.
