When the textile is manufactured, it is an essential factor to control the roller's temperature for improving product's quality. Temperature is a very important parameter in textile industry, how to achieve a better commanding of temperature accuracy is a keen problem which is expected to be solved.because the object of temperature control has a bad robustness, a unsteady precision.time-lag and so on. The traditional PID control has a poor performance in such a complicated system, which is nonlinear, big time-lag.but recently; fuzzy control has had some exciting conclusion, fuzzy control performance well without an accurate math model provided. It also has some strongness, for example, high robustness, good dynamic response, short rising time, small surplus and the dynamic track quality.furthermore, its weakness-unsteady accuracy, which could be solved with combination of PID control that we call fuzzy-PID control, fuzzy-PID has a better flexibility, adaptability, accuracy.To improve the control performance, a Fuzzy - PID controller is proposed. The fuzzy control is used when the error is large, and the PID is used when the error is small. This instrument adapts fuzzy parameter control method to further perfect the performance of PID control. This method can exert fuzzy control characteristics such as high robustness, good dynamic response ,short rising time ,small surplus and it possesses the dynamic track quality and steady precision of PID controller.
