Digital high definition OB Van is the outcome of high development of broadcast television technology. And it is marking the direction of broadcasting development High definition television will be equipped by multi-television station in the near future. With the mobile and flexible feature, OB Van must would be a very important equipment applied by television station. While, high definition OB Van would be applied also.The audio & video device is the most complex system in a high definition OB Van. The attribute of this system is having advanced technology; intact function; stable and flexible operation; and economical.The thesis is focused on the following points:1.To study and discuss the OB Van's camera quantity considering China's actual situation. Further, study the design scenario of audio & video system.2.To achieve the goal of recording and playing high definition,standard definition & analog signals simultaneously3.To share the different signals with other high definition system via system's connect, and further solve the corresponding problem caused.4.To design audio-system of multi-track stereo which is the most practical.5.To study compatible system which can broadcast emergency system and multi-video frequency signals.This thesis works out design purpose and principle and key points by combining the up-to-date technology and the actual requirement of television station. Using a single OB Van as one example, this thesis study and discuss how to design out a audio & video system applied in one high definition OB Van with eight cameras, then further discuss how to achieve the function of system connect.The key points in designing OB Van audio & video system are:1.Design scheme adopt the scenario using a large router as system core, different with the scenario focusing on mixer before.2.The design to achieve the goal of recording signal, and broadcasting standard definition and analog signals simultaneously by multi-broadcasting via multilevel mixer3.Apply the powerful function of mixer to achieve the design of emergency broadcasting system, the advantage is to minimize the investment of emergency system, while improve the security of broadcasting system.
