The functions of driver developed in the paper include reading from the card, controlling the functions and statuses of the card, interrupt handling, PNP and power management.Digital television middleware is a software system between applications and real-time operation system in set-box. It presents as API format which is stored in the flash memory of the set-box. The mid-ware system improves the open and transplantable abilities much. Different middleware systems will provide different interfaces to lower resource and to upper applications, so they can not communicate with each other. With the development of the digital television operation, people realizes the importance of formulating the uniform API. DVB of Europe and ATSC of America has formulated the mid-ware standard after formulating the digital television broadcast standard, data broadcast standard and alternate operation. MHP of Europe provides reference with mid-ware standard in our country. A part of works in the paper is writing the test code for application's control and management API of the mid-ware standard which will be publicized in the future and completing the test report.
