Rapid advance in mobile computing device and cellular communications makes a new generation distributed database for mobile computing environment—mobile database be the direction in database study. The combination of mobile computing technology and database technology, come into being the mobile database technology, which indicate the new chapter of international revolution's advent, it becomes realistic that people are able to access the data, info and applications at any time, any place. At this moment, the most investigation hotspot is the research on database technology under the mobile computing environment. The research on database technology has been the weak connectivity which is under the mobile computing environment, the frequent disconnection is its special character. Some modules of transaction in mobile environment has been already proposed to aim at the characteristic of mobile computing. In order to improve the efficiency of mobile computing, the execution of transactions is always processed in the manner of optimistic replication. But the problem of consistency arise with the apply of replication technology, the conflict of transactions may danger the consistency of the data in the database system.Integrate with above analytical thinking, this paper is mainly focus on investigating the scheme of applying reservation mechanism as conflict detection and conflict solution in the mobile database, and present the corresponding principle and the thoughts of how to apply it as well. Finally, here presents several mini applications which is established on the basic of above thoughts, it also simulates and evaluates the effect of reservation mechanism applications.
