Internet Transmission Module Research And Realize Of Embedded Video Surveillance System

Nowadays, the video surveillance system is changing from an analog system to a network digital system. Network digital video surveillance system has great anti-interference capacity and great stability and the system is simple to construct and easy to extend. This article is part of the Tianjin Science and Technology Progress Project"Internet Camera Based on Embedded Real Time System". This system can be used in the field of network digital video surveillance system.In the first part of the article, the background of"Internet Camera Based on Embedded Real Time System"project is introduced. The main part of this article considered the researching and realize of the internet transmission module. In the second chapter the ARM architecture used in the hardware platform is introduced. In the following several chapters, the sofeware platform is introduced, including fundamental conception of the embedded real time operating system VxWorks and TornadoII, board support package (BSP) development and porting processure, and embedded system device driver programme method. Embedded application software developing method based on VxWorks is also introduced, including multi-task programming and internet communication programming. In the last part of this article, the realization method of the internet transmission module is given. In the design of hardware, system controls the whole remote end and transports compressed image data on Internet with a 32bit ARM microcontroller, S3C4510B. There is a FIFO as a data buffer between DSP and ARM microcontroller. For the software part, the BSP for the PCB and the application based on the VxWorks are developed. VxWorks internet communication client mode programming is introduced in this article.
