Research On The Application Of GPRS To Equipment Running And Monitoring In Power System

With the development of mobile communication technology,computer technology and Internet network technology, especially the appearance of GPRS, wireless mobile technology is increasingly getting potential markets in industrial monitoring technology especially the instrument monitoring in power system.The development and research status of power system monitoring is introduced, the research meaningfulness is assured. And we present the structure of the GPRS data transmission system and function, design data termination unit based on GPRS, and debug the functional modules, SMS function, PPP negotiation and TCP connection for a detailed analysis. And quantitative measure of the actual transmission data is done. The system sets the detection of GPRS network, which enhances the reliability of the communication system.
