The article focuses on the research of"design and implementation of off-line programming system of robot welding product line", which is the subtask of Tenth Five Key Project of JiangSu Province"R&D of Open Network Industrial Robot and the Application Project of Automobile Welding Product Line".Aimming at the existing condition of low efficiency in on-line programming method and of slight degree in automation at the automobile product line, on the basis of general design scheme in off-line programming system, the paper propose the system design of robot off-line programming.Based on OpenGL's great romance for the scene and drawing for the robot, a three-dimension simulation scene is formed which has good reality and embodies the superiority of robot off-line programming to complete the robot off-line simulation system, through researching the application and realization way of OpenGL in industrial robot simulation. A self-developed robot off-line simulation system is introduced and the convenience of Off-line system given to user is analyzed through showing the track of the robot which is based on the trace file, the way to edit and programming the trace file is discussed.
