This thesis starts with the research on current online information services, and shows some problems which make information resources be used incorrectly. Actually, the main conflict we met is that traditional information service pattern can't satisfy mobile users' personal requests for information of some concrete objects. Therefore, how to resolve this conflict and other related questions is the main point of this paper.Considering there are many limits of current information service in particular situation, such as based on Internet, designing for special application, ignoring environment context and so on, the paper proposes the concept of Pervasive Onsite Based Service, POBS for short. It can not only provide accurate information which mobile users really care, but also make it easier and more effective to get information, according to their requests of information service for concrete objects in pervasive environment.By analyzing onsite service behavior, it is found that POBS model is composed of three elements, which are context-aware space, information-aggregating spot and service-publishing object. The aim of this model is to provide reference and principle for pervasive onsite service system design and development. The framework of context-aware space creates a series of universal ontology which are used for context knowledge representation and exchange. In order to abstract information effectively, information-aggregating spot proposes the information tree which can map information structure into documents space based on markup language. Service-publishing object makes sure that all the information can be published well and truly by following the publishing criterion and policy.The thesis finishes with a review of the works we have done and the prototype system VF.LO we have implemented. Meanwhile, future work is also advanced.The main contribution in this thesis made by author can be concluded in: Put forward onsite based information service research area; Put forward pervasive onsite based service model and its three elements; Put forward context-aware framework based on ontology, information-aggregating tree and information-publishing criterion and policy.
