With the development of science, data communication technology is applying broadly in every field. The networks that consists of speech and data transmission devices, adopting wireless channel by using frequency hopping (FH) technology, has many advantages such as flexibility and anti-disturbed abilities. On the poor conditions of high flexibility and channel limitation, it is still applicable to transfer real-time voice and data in wireless channel.This dissertation, firstly,gives a presentation on the theory of FHSS, channel code and digital speech code. According to practical conditions such as the characteristics of TI OMAP embedded system and RF module, DLC protocol and PHY protocol are designed, including FHSS synchronization method , time division multiple access method and transmission protocol . Because speech transmission depends on real-time performance and data transmission needs accuracy, so data transmission uses the ARQ scheme to improve the performance over wireless networks while speech transmission does not. These protocols are described in detail, including state machines and frame formats of all reactions and communications among the different devices. Then a system simulation is adopted to testify the practicability and performance of these protocols. At last, the architecture of the software and expanded interface are shown in this dissertation. |
