The grinding process is a complicated Muti-input and Muti-output process with the characteristic of complex multi-variable, nonlinear and large time lag. In this paper, automatic control and comprehensive automation system technology related to grinding process are both researched in detail based on the research of grinding grade process of MeiShan Concentration Plant, Shanghai BaoShan Steel Group.The control method of grinding grade process is designed and the whole grinding system is treated as several control subsystems by analyzing of the model of mill and grader. The ore feed is stabilized by sampling control. Variational ratio control is used to control the first grinding and feed forward de-coupling is used to control the second grinding. The grinding overfall granularity control subsystem is discussed on emphasis and the granularity of product is stabilized by fuzzy control. The validity of methods above is showed in practice.The settlement method of grinding process comprehensive automation system is designed according to characteristic of grinding process technics and control. The method of Supervisory control and data acquisition(SCADA) is used. They run economically , safely and flexibly.Research conclusion has great popularization foreground and application value, which not only adapts to the industry of metallurgical but also has great reference significance and merit to the automation and information renovation for old flow industries.
