| Decision Support System (DSS) has become a newly developed information system since 1970's, which is based on Management Information System (MIS). It's primary function is to help those middle or high-level decision makers engaged in management to solve the complicated system problems resulting from the poorly-organized structure. During the process of decision support, Model Library together with its management system has played a decisive role and is considered as the core and the chief characteristics of DSS differentiating from other information systems. In recent years, with the flourishing of computer and information technology, Model Library has experienced a rapid development both in theory and practice. The author of this article has introduced the function realization of mathematic model library and the process of establishing mathematic model library based on data warehouse emphatically, he has given a detailed structure and design to the Model Library of the system.Firstly, this dissertation introduces correlated knowledge about data warehouse, including the evolvement from database to data warehouse, the background of data warehouse, related concept feature and architecture of data warehouse, and on-line analysis process and data mining technology.Secondly, this dissertation introduces correlated knowledge about model, including concept, classification, denoting method. An oriented object method is applied to the realization of model library after comparing traditional denoted methods of model, and a part of codes for defining model using oriented object method are given. The oriented object description method for model, which takes model, data, method as object to process together, can effectively resolve unsuited problems between model and method , model and data, then realizes the reuse of model. The inheriting mechanism of oriented object enhances the development efficiency of model library, augments the stability of system, and makes the denoting for model library easier. Oriented object method can enable designers to better understand, establish and manage enormous and complex model library system.
