DVB-T is the highest score one of Terrestrial Video Broadcasting standard. The work in this paper is based on DVB-T standard EN 300 744. At first, the system's structure flow and its characteristic is described, and the channel characteristic, modulation and coding in DVB-T systems is emphasis analyzed. Then do the simulation of DVB-T system with Gauss, Rayleigh and Roentgen channel under the MATLAB software environment. The simulation result shows that the channel coding in DVB-T has a very good ability of error correction. This paper propose a scheme of using Turbo code in DVB-T and by simulation we can see the performance of system is improved when only use Turbo code rather than concatenate Turbo code with RS code. This paper also propose a scheme of combine TCM with DVB-T and the simulation result shows that performance of the system used TCM is improve under Gauss channel rather than Rayleigh channel. Besides the channel coding technology, this paper also take transmit antenana diversity space-time code of MIMO technique in DVB-T system.
