The Research And Exploitation Of Integrated Retrieval System

With the rapid development of network, computer and communication technique, the development of Digital Library has come into the stage of resource integration and optimized service. Because plentiful digital resources of Digital Library are mostly distributed in physical position, it is not convenient for user. At present the main solution is to exploit integrated retrieval system, which provides uniform interface and convenience for user.This paper at first simply elucidates the metadate and the problem of metadata interoperability, introduces the interoperation protocol and distributed object technique based on distributed condition in detail, then concretely analyzes the mode, technique and model of exploiting system, at last according to the present condition of XiDian University Libray designs and exploits a integrated retrieval system in which HTTP protocol, J2EE technique ,virtual integrated mode and MVC model are adopted. The system integrates electronic book resources with bibliographic database of library and achieves the integration and seamless link of different medium resource based on retrieval. The system has the feature of simple operation, good across-platform, powful maintainability and expansibility.
