The development of Wireless Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) makes the new military wireless communication systems more active. The ability to be set up quickly and operate without wired infrastructure makes Ad hoc network a promising candidate for wide use in military communications. The development of Ad hoc network has revivified the development of a new generation of military communications system. Ad hoc network does not need the support of fixed infrastructure. It can be quickly and simply organized with the ability of self-organization and self-renovation. Thus it has found a great prospect of being widely applied in military field. On the basis of the analysis of the features of military communications, this paper deals with the active and table-driven routing protocol FSLS (Fuzzy Sighted Link State) in the Ad hoc network, which is an improvement of SLS (Standard Link State). Standard Link State Routing Protocol has become the most widely applied method in Internet, with the advantages of simplicity, robustness, predictable dynamics and unmatchable support for the alterable QoS based routing cluster. However, when a link state routing which is used in the finite Internet is applied to the mobile ad hoc network, it is difficult to extend it. An extendable link state routing which can be applied to the ad hoc network is of gerat value. The method of improving table-driven routing protocol falls into two categories: effective distribution and restricted distribution, both attempting to cut the overhead on routing updating despite the adoption of different thoughts. In effective distribution, the routing updating efficiency is improved, while the restricted distribution is composed of the limitations to the scope of routing updating by space and time. FSLS belongs to restricted distribution. In this paper, a wireless mobile self-organized network simulation platform is constructed by the employment of NS2 system simulation tools, on which the FSLS routing protocol algorithm is realized. By comparing the network performance of the FSLS routing protocol by simulation under different conditions, the feasibility of the FSLS protocol algorithm is validated, which provides reference algorithm, reference models and reference data for the design and the plan of practical systems.
