| Visual information, especially dynamic visual information, takes the most part of environment information that is perceived by human beings.Therefore, perceiving the dynamic visual information in the environment has become an important research field in computer vision. Moving objects detection and tracking is one of the most important issues in applied vision and moving image coding and has wide applications in many fields.The thesis is focused on the study of the system of moving object detection and tracking based on DSP, including the design of the hardware platform and the algorithm software module for moving object detecting and tracking.On the research of moving objects detection, we introduced some common approaches of detecting moving objects, and improved the traditional the frame differential method; then to aim at the defect of mess computation and low speed in traditional background rebuilding, we presented a better method of that based on image block. Experiments are given to show the validity of algorithm.On the part of moving objects tracking, first we introduced the principle of Kalman filtering algorithm, and the algorithm of tracking moving multi_objects based on Kalman filtering is presented. Then introduced the gate algorithm which was applied to our system.Then We introduce hardware platform of development and Debugger based on DAM6416 , The process of this system is as follows: First the image sequences collected are pre-processed on DSP, Second, the frame differentiation method is adopted to detect moving objects, then the double gate centroid tracking method is presented to track the moving object.Seeing from the experiment result and data throughout the paper, the moving object can be exactly and timely detected and tracked by the system under the specified case and it can attain to the expected effect basically. |
