| GIS(Geographic Information System) is a system which is used to manage geographic information for daily life. From the applicable view, GIS ushers the defination of spatial information. In daily life, almost 70% data is realated to their spatial location. Because of that, GIS is treated as the basic platform in the projects which use GIS technology. Also GIS becomes the basic of the composite information platform.This paper is based on a real project: Shenzhen Urban Transport Simulation System (SUTSS for short). SUTSS is an intelligent Web site based on the J2EE technologies and Esri ArcGIS system. It is part of Shenzhen Intelligent Transport System. The main aim of this project is how to ues Esri ArcGIS system to suport the GIS development, and simplify the application coding work.The thesis focuses on the GIS coding. There are two points should be considered carefully: one is the system's databse design, the other one is the application development patterns. The paper first introduces the related teconologies in SUTSS system: Esri ArcGIS system, then does some research on the GIS constructions in SUTSS system.There gives a summary of the researches which has done in this paper, and puts forward some further impovement suggestion of SUTSS system. |
