With the recent large development of information technologies, many fields on information management gained a big development and the trend tended to be further. E-commerce, E-affairs for government, office automatism (OA) and enterprises information system have become the hot points of the applications on Management Information Systems (MIS). In these applications, Business Process Management (BPM) is a common concerned spot. For now, BPM depends on Workflow management systems in which predefined workflow definitions execute. Howerver, most Workflow management systems have not supplied mature mechanism for asserting the correctness of a workflow definition and not a standard for this goal. This paper differentiates evident workflow attributes from hidden attributes to get rid of the unrelated elements of modeling transformation. In order to make the opposite WF-net model sound, we modify the implementation of JBPM's runtime module in charge of managing workflow running. We present the transformation rules from JBPM workflow definition to Petri nets models with which we can obtain the WF-nets which are structure-equivalent with JBPM. Some performance must be applied such as sub-structure abstraction, sub-structure classification and sub-structure modeling. We illustrate an attribute called free-choice on the WF-nets. If a WF-net is free-choice, it must be sound. For this purpose, we modify the implementation of JBPM in the runtime module to synchronize with the transformed model.
