| There are three main market for the Workflow applications in the future: (1) Office automation or applications of approval process for the intranet of enterprise or government,(2) Integrated applications based on process, (3)Providing Engine supporting for enterprise applications.Web Service is a new generation of Web applications that can be accessed by open Internet protocols. It represents the combination of component technology and Web technology. One of the important characters of Web Services is that it can be combined.As the mainly mechanism to combination Web Services,Workflow is most important for creating a new and powerful Web Services rapidly. Workflow will provide the running pattern for the communication of Web Services components.In this dissertation,Workflow technology and Web Services technology briefly introduced firstly. On the basis of analyzing the new requirements of Workflow system, we promote a Web services-based distributed Workflow system architecture,and described the design principles and main framework of the system. At the last,we study the activity schedulability in Workflow and provide the analysis method of Workflow schedulability based on time constraint Petri nets.This dissertation consists of 5 chapters. In the first chapter, the background of thesis and research objectives are introduced. In Chapter 2, introduces the techniques of Workflow and Web Services including its advantages,basis theory and computing model are introduced. In Chapter 3, we expound Web Services based Workflow,including the model of the system,the engine of the Workflow,and the integration of Workflow and Web Services. In Chapter 4, we discuss the analysis of Workflow schedulability based on time constraint Petri nets. In Chapter 5, we give the conclusion of the achievements of this thesis and a prospect of some task to be continued in the future. |
