Abstract/Summary:
Managing the Operate & Maintain asset lifecycle phase remains a major challenge for power plant and other asset intensive organizations. Assets are expected to generate their returns and justify the investment decision during this phase. EAM, as a new information system solution, has been adopted by China market since 2002.At the same time, IPOS is decided to develop for a Powerplant as an open EAM, whose interfaces should be open to ERP, CM, DSS and so on. The system uses BPR to optimize the work processes , integrates the KKS,equipments management, maintenance management and history records management etc. This dissertation gives the analysis and design process of IPOS.IPOS is based on .NET platform , and has a component based development. XML Web Service is used in IPOS to open a set of interfaces for other multiple software system. An open system– PlantPassPort is also developed for both IPOS and other system. The dissertation also discussed the Open O&M specification, which is developed by OPC and MIMOSA. Open O&M can give a way to integrate IPOS and Condition Based Maintenance systems. In the end, a solution which can export KKS Excel data to IPOS is presented. The IPOS system has been applied in a Power Plant and proved to be efficacious and efficient.
