Research Of Decoding Technology Of Chinese Sensible Code

Two-dimensional(2D) bar code is a graphic symbol which based on the computer image processing technology and combined coding principles. Compared with other automatic identification technology, 2D bar code has its own high-capacity, high-density, error correction capability, high-security, low prices and other features, which makes 2D bar code as an information carrier in the field of automatic data accumulation playing an increasingly important role. 2D bar code has relatively high density of information,so the recognition technology which need image processing ,error-Correcting decoding and information decoding technology to reinstate the original code ,is more complex than the one-dimensional(lD) bar code. Thus the effective and rapid identification technology of the two-dimensional bar code has become an important area of study. This paper mainly study on the national standard two-dimensional bar code "Chinese sensible code"(CS code), which focus on its recongnition and decoding algorithm. First, the main characters and encoding rules of the CS code was introduced. CS code adopt RS error-correction algorithm make it more powerful error-correction ability,and this paper emphasis on RS error-correction decoding algorithm. In recognition system includes three parts, which are image preprocessing, recognition and information decoding. CS code belongs to matrix 2D bar code, so CS code identification using digital image processing methods. At last, the paper give out the program design of CS code decoding. The results show that CS code recognition algorithm can quickly and accurately identify the bar code.
