Research And Application Of Adaptive Workflow Management System

Customer' s demands have different abstract levels, and the users' inspection of business process is different from the programmers' , which increases complexity of system design; At the same time, the traditional Management Information System doesn' t distinguish between the management logic and business logic, making the current system not meet the needs caused by open and dynamic environment, which hinders the development of enterprise. The work of this article is study on how to build Workflow Management System of flexibility and adaptability to increase the flexibility and extensibility of system, meeting the needs of business process' s modification and building. The study mainly includes research on adaptive Workflow Management System' s core problem, the design and implementation of Workflow Management System based on SOA as well as the design and implementation of system function.On the research of flexibly assembling Workflow and building adaptive Workflow Management System, this article put forward the thought and implement method of the function represent level adaptability and technology realization level adaptability. This method uses Service-oriented Architecture for reference, on function represent level implementing the separation of management logic and business logic, and building loosely coupled cooperative software architectures on the interactive software component. It is emphasized that the division of service size should be atomic on the technology realization level, and realized that the loosely coupling in atomic service, making the system have the ability of flexibility both on macro and on micro, implementing flexibly building Workflow.A Workflow Management System is designed and implemented on the help of SOA thought and Workflow layered description model. This system is divided into three layers which are management layer, business service layer and relational database layer. It is easy to implement the separation of user' s business knowledge and programmers' knowledge, shielding the difference of inspection corner and layer between the users and the programmers. The business users could concentrate on the business process' s design and optimization, decreasing the complexity of system design. It is possible to build the Workflow flexibly and reuse the business service owing to the division of management layer and business service layer which also provides the experience for the SOA thought on the application of architecture based C/S. Every business service is good packaging software module with the appropriate size, facilitates further "packaging" to web service, providing support to change from C/S to B/S at least cost.From the management reality of raw material warehouse, on detailed needs analysis, we conducted functional design of the system, finished programming of relevant business services. The functions such as in_store operation, out_store operation, stock_query operation and stock_carryover of the raw materials semi-finished products , metal parts , information maintenance of materials users employees and department and dynamic right management suit the special needs of their business, simplifying the business flow and improving the work effectively. It is proved to be of feasibility and practicality through the practical application and test.
