The Records Management Information System(R-MIS) is a module of The Coordinated-OA System (DCwork V2.1) that designed by Inspur Company.it's requirement from the projects of GanSu Tobacconist Management System, HeiLongJiang Tobacconist Management System and ChongQing Tobacconist Management System . it can embed in the Coordinated-OA System as a module to be used and it can be used as a independence MIS too.The R-MIS manages two kinds of records mainly. One is the documentation records, such as certificate, files, documents that created by the Coordinated-OA System and so on. The other is physical records, such as cup, medal, books and so forth. The administrators of the R-MIS set the data of the records into the system and manage them. Then the users can inquire about them and borrow from the system rest with the permission that the users hold.The goal of the R-MIS is organizing, managing, using the records conveniently and improving the quality of the daily grind, share the records maximally, and fit the needs in the future.During the whole project design cycle including system requirement analyses and system modeling, Rational Unified Process or RUP is used as development tool to analyze and configure software development process; The Unified Modeling Language or UML is used as standard language for specifying, visualizing, constructing, and documenting the artifacts of software systems; J2EE is used as a programming and development platform. This paper will present analyses and design for Recording Records Module, Creating Catalogue Module, Statistics Module, Borrowing Management Module, Destroying Management Module, Setting System Module, Introduction Module, and Helping Module and so on.Based on the detailed analyses of the project background and current status of enterprises internationally, this paper presents the major issue must be solved and presents the whole system descriptions. Further more, it gives the detailed requirement analyses and system architecture. And some topical samples are used to show how system modules are designed and implemented. The articles synthetically discuss the whole process of the R-MIS. To hold a meeting for requirement, use kinds of methods to collect and detailed analysis the customer's demand. All that settles the groundwork for the following works. During the planning period, designing and drawing the Use Case, Object Model, and Class and so on. And raised the idea of getting the structure of tables from the Object Models. The idea applied in the R-MIS. With the help of Spring LouShang Frame, Web Module, Work Flow of Inspur Company, the system architecture meets the business requirements, and achieves the goal of scalability and maintainability. During the coding period, realizing the functions of R-MIS as anticipated.
