Based On Web Mining Technology Long-Distance Teaching Platform Research

Ministry of Education in China has devote great efforts to developing online education since 1999, which has become the new growing point in development of today's education technology and the direction of the main trend in the development of modern education. There are several common shortages in today's online education, such as monotonous teaching pattern, accumulation of teaching resources in a casual way, and intelligence of low level. The major work which is carried out includes:1.Introduction about the present situation and problems of distance learning and teaching system; study on the situation of individual education and the standards of distance learning; exposition on the research meanings and the idea about how to solve the problems in individual teaching and learning, which is to improve the system of distance education by using the Web mining techniques, along with the standards for distance education, to express the"learners-centered"teaching thought, and to realize the actual resource-sharing.2.Introduction of data mining techniques and Web mining techniques; discussion on the data model and structure of Web using and mining; and analysis on the Connection rule excavation algorithm and improvement algorithm。3.Advancing the model of individual teaching and learning system, enlarging the learning system of the traditional online teaching conditions, so that online education will suit the features of different learners by developing contents for each individual. The model has the feature that there are two nearly parallel mining processes to mine the Visit diary and Interactive data respectively.
