The wavelet analysis is a type of new mathematic analysis tool and has characteristic multi-resolution. It not only inherits and develops an ideal localization of the short-term Fourier transform, but also overcomes the shortcoming that the short-term Fourier transform window does not follow the frequency change. It has now been widely applied in the fields of signal analysis, speech sound management, electronic resistance, model recognition, image management, breakdown diagnosis, biomedicine, mechanic-vibration, torrent analysis, etc. and has achieved great success. For adapting the real-time requirements of signal treatment of projects, the study of using hardware to realize continuous wavelet transform(CCCII) is developed rapidly.The VLSI implementation of the CWT(continuous wavelet transform) can be divided into two methods: time-domain and frequency-domain. Time-domain of realizing the CWT has the advantages of fast speed, relatively simple structure and the focalization of the wavelet functions can be realized, Frequency-Domain is more flexible and has more plans and more wavelet functions but the structure is more complicated. To realize frequency-domain is the design of the permanent Q bandpass filter clusters. Recently, all kinds of filters based on currently controlled conveyors have been shown up in thesis. Their advantages adjustable include central frequency and the numbers of Q , the higher speed of the processing of current model signals ,the wider band , and the more satisfactory accuracy and the few active components needed which helps agglomeration and less sensitive activeness and inactiveness . Meanwhile, analog multiplier simulated inductance, voltage-current transit amplifier, integraph, etc. can also be realized based on CCCII. Therefore, the study of realizing continuous wavelet transform based on current controlled conveyor becomes a new method.This paper introduces the details of the present research, the realization principles, and the application of current controlled conveyor, presents a new practical current for two order bandpass filter, analog inductance,analog multiplier etc and designs an 8-channel filter bank on such basis. This new current is calculated with examples and simulated by the software Pspice, verifying such design method to be perfectly satisfactory to the requirements. |
