| The first telephone line between New York and Chicago built in 1892 is the key point in the development of communication technology,especially in the last ten years communication technology developed every month even every day.The backbone communication network has developed from PSTN into an integrated communication network,incuding PSTN,ISDN, X.25, Frame relay network,packet switching network,DDN,ATM,satellite network, microwave communication network and so on.The accessing technology includes fixed telephone, cellphone network,LAN,WLAN,Wimax and so on , every unit and person can access communication network or communicate with clients of any netwotk through one or several communication technology above. Today, new services like data transport and video spured by social development have becoming light point in the development of communication.But the QoS of the communication network doesn't satisfy most of clients,we can see from the 17th china internet surveying report that the clients'satisfacition to the quality of network is not high.This is mainly because information capacity and new service growing too fast that the study of performance of network can't follow the development of network service.It is hard to find a reasonable network traffic model and the despriction to performance of network is accurate.The question above will lead to a bad design and optimization of communication network.Once a new service comes out,the processing ability of network can't follow the demand of it,so the quality of service can't satisfy clients.From above we can see the reasarch of performance of network should be following the development of service in time.This will give network design and optimization good reference in theory and can built our communication network better.Through study on using leisure channels to process best effort service in multi-service system, a new model to compute best effort services'average delay and average processing time in the system is proposed.Because there are some problems in mathematics can't be solved,this paper dosen't give certification in theory.And the best effort services'average delay and average processing time were simulated and the results were compared with the data computed in the new model. The differences between them are so little that the new model is feasible and reliable. A new and reliable method is provided for computing best effort services'average delay and average processing time in the varying capacity communication system.And these parameters used in network design and optimization will make our network serve our clients better. |
