A Study And Design Of Chinese Language Learning Web-based Courseware For Indonesian

Chinese language teaching in Indonesia had been through some difficult situations in the past. The research and the development of Chinese language learning courseware using multimedia advantages that can break through space and time barriers is expected to solve problems in Chinese language teaching in Indonesia, and to provides good environment for the Indonesian to study Chinese language. This dissertation also expected to give meaningful result to the modernization, digitalization and the development of Chinese language teaching in Indonesia.The first chapter introduced the history of Chinese language teaching in Indonesia, the present situation and its problems, followed by the background knowledge of this dissertation. The second chapter summarized Chinese language learning web-based courseware in China, Indonesia and other countries. Also, to understand more about Chinese language students' needs in Indonesia, we have done demand analysis which results become the fundamental basic of this courseware.The third chapter explained the teaching plans of the courseware, including the learners' characteristics, teaching goals, teaching contents, teaching strategies, media information and the appraisal design. The fourth chapter discussed the system design, including the structure design of the courseware, the guiding strategies, interface designs and interactive designs.
