With the development of Internet, the technology of digital television broadcasting develops rapidly. The digital television broadcasting system is a relatively large system, and it covers nationwide web and contains complex business logic. The system makes it easily to manager the information of programs, program agents and contracts. It becomes an important research to build a stable, secure and distributed application framework.Based on the digital television broadcasting system (CMWIN), this paper introduces the technology of CORBA and gives a description of the system design and realization in detail. The paper focuses on three aspects, firstly it presents the CORBA based design of system architecture, which used COM components at customer side and CORBA components at server side. Additionally it describes the design and realization method of a special mechanism which can support different concurrency models and enhance system throughout. Besides, the technology of OLTP is used to enhance system load capacity and ensure system stability. Secondly it gives a detailed description of the system CORBA based design and implementation, including the design of client, server and IDL. Finally the test case is designed to test and evaluate the system, and the objective analysis of the test result is presented. The system is more stable and efficient through analyzing and optimazing the system performance, load ability and security.
