| Abstract: In the teaching of Basic of Electronic Technology the traditional teaching mode and means cannot meet the requirement of modern education. The rapid development of computer and EDA technology is helpful for us to overcome the deficiencies of traditional teaching mode. Multisim simulation software, an industrial standard on the base of SPICE developed by a Canadian company called Interactive Image Technologies, is a kind of EDA software. Being fast and accurate in simulation analysis of circuit on computer, the software has been extensively applied in the teaching of electronic courses.This thesis, basing on the theory of Constructivism learning and Contextual learning, attempts to analyze the characteristics of the course, Basic of Electronic Technology ,and the widely existent defects in teaching. It places emphasis upon the necessity and probability to introduce Multisim in teaching Basic of Electronic Technology, and combining with the author's teaching practice, the thesis makes an analysis of using Multisim in academic class and laboratory teaching. Finally, the thesis points out the existent problems in applying Multisim to the teaching and puts forward the measures of solving them as well as the direction of taking a further research.This thesis is divided into five parts. The first part provides the research background, which presents the current situation of specialty of electronic application, the students'state and the defects of the traditional teaching mode in medium vocational and technological school. Under this background, this part introduces the viewpoint that modern educational technology can change traditional teaching model. This part also analyzes the research situation, research objectives, research content as well as research methods. The second part gives an introduction of the theories adopted in the teaching of Basic of Electronic Technology,which are Constructivism learning and Contextual learning. The third part discusses the functions and the characteristics of Multisim software. In the fourth part, after the introduction of Basic of Electronic Technology, the author explains the effects of Multisim in academic and experimental teaching in this course. And through the analysis of some typical examples in the teaching practice,the author's standpoint is testified. From materialistic and dialectic perspective the fourth part points out the advantages and disadvantages of Multisim software. The fifth part makes a conclusion that Multisim simulation software is such outstanding software that it is quite reasonable to apply it to the teaching of the course of Basic of Electronic Technology and puts forward measures to advance it. |
