The Application Of DCS With Image Measurement Function In DMC System

The paper introduced a new kind of Distributed Control System with measurement of video. According to the framework of DCS. The paper added the liquid level measurement by image. And it was applied in production of DMC.The paper based on this kind of Distributed Control System with framework of process control. On the basis of traditional measuring liquid height by liquid level sensor, it applied a new method to measure the liquid height by imaging sensor. The operating principle, hardware construction and soft design of this system were illustrated.The system discussed the data collection about temperature flow pressure and the liquid height image and the process of image compressing . In addition, it presented algorithm about the liquid height image filtering and pattern recognition.Arounded the signal of liquid height image,the system designed the equipment of measurement of video composed of compress chip ADV611 and ARM S3C44B0.The equipment can transmit the image signal which has been processed and other data signal on local network by TCP/IP.On DMC ,this pattern DCS included approximately one hundred of monitoring and controlling signal about liquid height,flow,pressture and temperature. Associated with the display system of the automatic instrument., the system provided great convenience for enterprise personnel to manage manufacture.The main distinctive feature of the design was to set up a set of DCS monitored control system based on embedded system chip ARM S3C44B0 .On the basis of traditional measuring liquid height by liquid level sensor, it applied a new method to measure the liquid height by image sensor. The equipment aimed at the peculiarity of image signal transmitting in local network,the capacity occupied by liquid level image signal and TCP/IP protol modes,carried out specifical design. The design improved real time and definition of image signal transmitting in local network.
